1. Gaziantep University Faculty of Law Journal (“GAÜN-HFD”) requires that submitted articles comply with the Turkish Language Association’s spelling guide.

 

2. Articles sent to the journal are subjected to plagiarism checks using computer programs before being sent to the referees. If the similarity rate (excluding Citations and Bibliography) is over 25% according to the relevant checks, the article is automatically returned without being sent to the referees.

 

3. Articles to be sent;

- In Word format,

- A4 paper size,

It has to happen.

 

In the introduction and other sections following the introduction;

- “Times New Roman” font,

- 12 point font size,

- “Times New Roman” font, 10 point font size in footnotes,

It has to happen.

 

Paragraphs;

- It should start 1.5 cm from the inside,

- All paragraphs should be written with 1.15 line spacing,

- Paragraphs should be arranged with 0 pt spacing first, then 6 pt spacing.

 

4. The ISNAD citation system (Isnad 2nd Edition) should be used for footnotes and bibliography in the text. See https://www.isnadsistemi.org/ The bibliography section should be arranged alphabetically, but should not be numbered. The bibliography should be given as a single piece, without being divided into sections such as books, articles, and electronic resources.

5. Turkish Abstract and English Abstract sections must be included in all submitted articles. Turkish Abstract and English Abstract sections must be justified, 200-300 words, 10 point, 0 pt before, 6 pt after, and written in Times New Roman style with a line spacing of 1.15 cm. Following the Turkish Abstract section, keywords must be included, and after the English Abstract section, Keywords must be included; a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 keywords must be used in these sections.

 

6. The title of the article should be prepared separately in two languages, Turkish and English; all letters of the title should be capitalized, bold and centered in 14-point font size. The Turkish title should be at the beginning of the text, followed by the abstract and keywords sections; the abstract and keywords sections should be placed after the English title. Section and subsection headings should be numbered in the “decimal system” (1.1., 2.1., 2.1.1., etc.). Section headings and other subheadings should be capitalized, bold and centered in 12-point font size.

 

Section Headings: 1. Centered, Bold, Only First Letters of Words Capitalized (12 Point Size)

1st Degree Title: 1.1. Centered, Bold, Only First Letters Capital (12 Point)

2nd Degree Title: 1.1.1. Centered, Bold, Only First Letters Capital (12 Point)

3rd Degree Title: 1.1.1.1. Centered, Bold, Only First Letters Capital (12 Point)

 

Note: If there are conjunctions such as "and/or/with", they should be written in lower case letters.

 

7. The author's name and surname must be written in 12-point bold, right-aligned, and with only the first letters capitalized at the bottom right of the article title. At the end of the author's surname, there must be a footnote created with an asterisk ( * ) symbol that includes the author's academic title, institution, field of study, e-mail address, and ORCID information. Example:

Tayfun Ercan*

8. If the submitted publication is derived from a source such as a master's thesis, doctoral thesis, paper, etc., the relevant issue must be explained under the starred footnote in the title of the article.
