LIBRARY USAGE RULES

 

 

  • As part of the inter-university cooperation, Gaziantep University members and other university faculty members and graduate students can benefit from the Law Faculty Library during the permitted periods within the scope of research and thesis.

 

  • Our university members are considered as natural members of the library. However, in order to borrow books from the library, the library membership must be activated.

 

  • Persons who are not university staff or students cannot become members or borrow books. Researchers who wish to benefit from our library can apply by filling out the Guest Researcher Request Form on the Library and Documentation Department website (kutuphane.gaziantep.edu.tr).

 

  • When deemed necessary by our Dean's Office, restrictions may be placed on the usage rights of users from outside the institution, especially during midterm and final exam periods.

 

 

  • The readership and number of publications to be loaned are as follows:

  • Books borrowed from the Faculty of Law Library must be returned to our faculty library.

 

  • Periodicals are not loaned and are only used within the library.

 

  • Library materials cannot be taken out without permission. Legal action will be taken against those who damage library materials and/or try to take them out of the library without permission. All library materials are protected electronically. When the alarm is activated, the relevant user is checked.

 

  • Any copyright or publishing rights issues arising from unauthorized reproduction of library materials belong to the user who borrowed the publication or reproduced it without permission, and our library cannot be held responsible.

 

  • Our library is open to our students during the academic year between 08:00-17:30 on weekdays (and between 12:00-13:00 during lunch break). During the exam period, it is open between 08:00-21:00/22:00 on weekdays and 08:00-17:00 on weekends, starting from one week before the exam date until the exams end date.

 

  • Our library's summer working hours may be subject to restrictions by the Dean's decision, taking into account library usage statistics.
